By recreating functional objects and commercial designs through sculpture and paint, I process their clean lines through my imperfect lens and make them anew. Grocery circular ads take on new shapes - and with them, new meaning. I hope that dedicating my close observation to everyday objects alters their significance. So-called “mundane” moments become monuments through layered textures and a vibrant palette.
